Running the Good Race

Sunday-

Woke up Saturday to cloudy skies and cool air. It was great! So I ran 5 miles in 50 minutes. Some knee pain at the start, but then I felt great. It was a pleasure to run in such cool air. The streets were quiet at that hour (8am) so it was a nice run.

Today I ran up Shaw Buite for hills and endurance. My cardio felt strong and so did my legs. I know that when I can run up Shaw Buite without any pain or if my lungs do not feel like they are about to explode, then I am ready to run a 10k (6.2 miles). So, I will increase my long runs to 5.5 miles this week and see how it goes.
